has already sold 3.3 million copies on first day of its release. This means that every fourth person who had World of Warcraft bought this new release within 24 hours of its launch.
Blizzard Entertainment, the makers of World of Warcraft are terming Cataclysm as the fastest selling PC game of all times. In comparison iPhone sold only 1.5 million units on its first day and Beatles premier on iTunes sold only 2 million songs during first week of release.
The time leading to release of the game has also been full of enthusiasm for the game lovers because it promised new races, battlegrounds, learnable skills ,quests and regions. Guilds features has been beefed up in World of Warcraft Cataclysm for improvements on social gaming.
Cinematic Trailer of WoW Cataclysm went viral as soon as Blizzard put it on Youtube and recorded one million views the very first day. With this kind of wait , it is not surprising at all that World of Warcraft : Cataclysm is selling like very hot cakes.
